About

Sally studied Fashion at Edinburgh College of Art and worked in clothing and knitwear. Her love of pattern and colour has continued to inform her practice and can be seen throughout her work. 

She has exhibited with The Discerning Eye, The Sunday Times Watercolour competition, Artists & Illustrators magazine, The Chelsea Art Society and Townhouse Spitalfields. She now has a work space  in Wimbledon Art Studios where she takes part in Open Studios.

She has been commissioned to paint a variety of subjects including children, pets and houses.

Current Work

More recently her passion for the natural world has increased her interest in plants and gardens and she completed a horticultural course at Capel Manor in 2025.  For Open Studio in May her work will include a variety of horticultural subjects from allotments to private gardens and cutting patches to stately homes. She will also be showing prints and cards.
